New Menu shoot for Pepperjacks - A Seafront Auckland RestaurantPrior to COVID, my work was primarily based around locational work, but when COVD hit, that’s when my passion for shooting in my studio ignited…and I had to pivot, fast. Since then, I have worked between the 2 different styles of shooting, which not only has given me valuable experience but has also expanded my creativity further. When I was contacted by Pepperjacks and asked to shoot their new menu over 2 separate shoots, I was thrilled. From browsing their social content, I could already tell that they were passionate about portraying their business well through stunning visuals, so I knew that collaboratively we could create some really stunning work. Before the shoot: Once we had arranged a date, we got working on the moodboard which was delivered via their marketing manager in order for me to get a confident idea of both the style, colours and lighting they would like to promote through this portfolio. The shoot: Working with this collective mood board, we wanted to create imagery that was both light and airy promoting brunch and lunch dishes as well as some darker, atmospheric imagery to really accentuate their indoor area - perfectly cosy for a delicious date night or meal with friends. The deliverables: Utilising a mixture of still imagery, human element, and stop motion video to create eye-catching moments for social media, we were able to transport the viewer to the restaurant so they can get the perfect feel of the dining experience. Do you have a new menu coming out that is crying out to be photographed and displayed to your new and existing customers? I would love to chat about how we can work together to really create the best strategy through visuals to attract customers to your business.
Fill out my contact form and we can proceed from there ! Thanks! Ally xoxo
